The Sarasota/Manatee MPO is issuing the 2020 Call for Projects for the FDOT Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Projects representing all modes of transportation are requested to include roadway, bike and pedestrian, transit, and other eligible activities. Projects included in the TIP will be funded through various sources at the local, state, and federal levels based on established priorities and funding availability. All submittals must be received by:

How to Apply



  • The FDOT District One Priority Project Information Packet is the same as last year. Projects should be updated to reflect any changes and resubmitted to the MPO.
  • If you would like the MPO to preview your application for readiness for submittal to FDOT please submit by: Friday, November 22 at 5:00 p.m.

Project Submission

  • Please combine all required documents and attachments, with signatures, as one document per project.
  • Send each individual project PDF as a single email with the subject heading:
    (JURISIDICTION) Project Priority (NAME).
    Example: Manatee County Project Priority: 15th Street East
  • Please submit one email for each project application with a single PDF document to:
