The Sarasota/Manatee MPO is issuing the 2019 Call for Projects for the FDOT Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Projects representing all modes of transportation are requested to include roadway, bike and pedestrian, transit, and other eligible activities. Projects included in the TIP will be funded through various sources at the local, state, and federal levels based on established priorities and funding availability. All submittals must be received by: 

Tuesday, December 18 at 5:00 p.m. by email.

How to Apply


  • Additional information on the 2040 LRTP requirements can be found in Attachment D, which includes checklists for the cost feasible plan priorities.


  • Complete applications are due no later than: Tuesday, December 18 at 5:00 p.m.
  • If you would like the MPO to preview your application for readiness for submittal to FDOT please submit by: Tuesday, December 11 at 5:00 p.m.

Project Submission

  • Please combine all required documents and attachments, with signatures, as one document per project.
  • Send each individual project PDF as a single email with the subject heading:

      (JURISIDICTION) Project Priority (NAME).
      Example: Manatee County Project Priority: 15th Street East

  • Please submit one email for each project application with a single PDF document to:

Jurisdiction Priorities

Submit your Jurisdiction Priorities Template, approved by your elected officials no later than: Friday, February 1 at 5:00 p.m.
