CALL FOR PROJECTS

The Sarasota/Manatee MPO is issuing the 2023 Call for Projects for the FDOT Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Projects representing all modes of transportation are requested to include roadway, bike and pedestrian, transit, and other eligible activities. Projects included in the TIP will be funded through various sources at the local, state, and federal levels based on established priorities and funding availability. 

If you would like the MPO to preview your application for readiness for submittal to FDOT, please submit by: Friday, December 9th at 4:00 p.m.

Completed applications are due no later than: Friday, December 16th at 4:00 p.m.

  • December 2022

    • December 9, 2022: If you would like the MPO to preview your application for readiness for submittal to FDOT, please submit by Friday, December 9 at 4:00 p.m.
    • December 16, 2022: Submit completed application and all attachments by Friday, December 16 at 4:00 p.m.
  • January 2023

    • MPO develops Project Priorities list based on jurisdiction submissions
    • January 9, 2023: Technical/Citizens Advisory Committees review DRAFT list of project priorities.
    • January 23, 2023: Present DRAFT Project Priorities to MPO Board
    • Jurisdiction Priorities Adopted by Respective Boards by February 3, 2023
  • February 2023

    • Jurisdiction Priorities Adopted by Respective Boards
    • February 3, 2022: Submit Jurisdiction Priorities by Friday, February 3, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
  • March 2023

    • March 13, 2023: Technical/Citizens Advisory Committees review FINAL DRAFT list of project priorities.
    • March 27, 2023: MPO Board ADOPTS Final Project Priorities.
    • Final approved list of priority projects submitted to FDOT.
