PUBLIC NOTICE: Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Trails Advisory Committee (BPTAC) Meeting on August 18, 2026
NOTIFICATION IS GIVEN that on August 18, 2026, the Bicycle/Pedestrian/Trails Advisory Committee (BPTAC) Meeting will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Sarasota/Manatee MPO Office located at 5460-A 63rd Street East, Bradenton, Florida 34203.
PUBLIC COMMENT: Written comments filed with the MPO will be considered. Meeting materials and information regarding technology and access will be posted to the MPO website at www.mympo.org on Friday, August 7, 2026.
There are five (5) ways for the public to participate:
1. In person at the BPTAC meeting, by filling out a comment card.
2. Submit a public comment online by visiting https://www.mympo.org/get-involved/meetings. Submitted comments will be included as part of the official public record of the meeting.

c. Following the receipt of the email, instructions will be sent on how to join the virtual meeting to speak once the Chair calls on you during the public comment period.
The MPO rules of procedure, decorum, and policy governing the public comment period, shall be followed, and enforced in person or virtually. During the public comment period, the Chair will ask the public to speak based on the written requests to speak in the order they are received.
