NOTIFICATION IS GIVEN that on February 16, 2021, the Bicycle/Pedestrian/Trails Advisory Committee (BPTAC) hybrid meeting will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the MPO Office, 8100 15th Street East, Sarasota, Florida 34243.

PUBLIC COMMENT: Meeting materials and information regarding technology and access will be posted to the MPO website at www.mympo.org  by Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

There are five (5) ways for the public to participate:

  1. In person at the BPTAC meeting, by filling out a comment card.
  2. Written comments will be accepted before, during, and after each meeting. All written comments will be included as part of the official public record of the meeting. For the protection of the community, all Sarasota/Manatee Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) meetings will be available to the public online and by telephone to avoid convening more than ten people during the current Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged Declaration and Order of Emergency through June 30, 2021.  Public access and public comment opportunities will be provided as permitted for local government meetings, allowing the use of communications media technology, such as telephonic and video conferencing.

NOTIFICATION IS GIVEN that the Sarasota/Manatee MPO will hold a Public Transportation Task Force (PTTF) Meeting on Monday, October 26, 2020  at 8:15 a.m. in the Longboat Key Room at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, One Haben Boulevard, Palmetto, Florida 34221, followed by its regularly scheduled MPO Board Meeting which begins at 9:30 a.m. Meeting Materials for both meetings and information regarding technology and access will be posted to the MPO website at www.mympo.org on Friday, October 16, 2020.

The MPO rules of procedure, decorum, and policy governing the public comment period, shall be followed and enforced in the same manner as if the meeting were held in person.  During the public comment period, the Chair will ask the public to speak based on the written requests to speak in the order they are received.
