10th Ave Complete Streets Study - Visioning Workshop #2

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is holding a second visioning workshop for the 10th Avenue Complete Streets Study from Riverside Drive to 17th Street West, in Manatee County. We invite you to attend the workshop from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Palmetto Library, 923 6th Street West, Palmetto, Florida 34221. We’ve included a project and meeting location map below for your reference.

The workshop will include a PowerPoint presentation followed by open discussion. People attending the workshop may review project displays and aerial photographs, and speak one-on-one with project team members about the proposed improvements to 10th Avenue.

FDOT is sending notices to major stakeholders along the project corridor and other interested parties. FDOT welcomes and appreciates the community’s participation in the project. The workshop gives everyone an opportunity to express his or her views about the proposed improvements.

The workshop is developed in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes. FDOT solicits public participation without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
