Barrier Island Implementation Plan

The Barrier Island Implementation Plan was launched as a proactive initiative to develop tangible, short- and medium-term strategies to address these challenges. Recognizing that no single solution can solve the complex issues facing the islands, this Plan combines data analysis, community engagement, and lessons from comparable communities to deliver a clear roadmap for implementation. It is not focused on solving all the issues on the islands but rather asks what can be implemented realistically and quickly to offer some congestion relief.
