This bi-county advisory committee is comprised of a staff representative from each jurisdiction within both Manatee and Sarasota Counties, in addition to citizen advocates of each county and municipality. This committee is charged with developing a meaningful and productive work program to promote non-motorized transportation mobility, safety and accessibility throughout the region. The Committee acts as a general advisory committee to the MPO Board, with particular emphasis on on-road and off-road bicycle facilities, walkways, sidewalks, and trails.
BPTAC meetings are held at 2:30 PM in the main conference room at the MPO Office located at 5460 63rd St E, Suite A, Bradenton, FL 34203. Members of the public are always welcome and are encouraged to participate during the public input portion of all meetings.
